The seventh programme of Assetline Finance's 'Deshayata Jawayak' CSR initiative took place on January 18, 2025, at the Rowland Hotel in Kalutara District. This initiative is designed to enhance the financial literacy and management skills of small and medium-scale entrepreneurs.
Mr. Chaminda Kumarasiri, a seasoned SME trainer, Senior Chartered Accountant, Chairman and Senior Consultant at HCP Consulting (Private) Limited, and Chairman of the Asia Pacific Finance and Entrepreneurs Development Institute, served as the resource person for the event.
The programme covered vital topics, including financial literacy, management strategies, best industry practices, and how to leverage technology for improved efficiency. It also emphasized the importance of building a strong brand identity and managing debt facilities effectively. The session provided small and medium-scale entrepreneurs with the opportunity to discuss the challenges they face in the current economic environment.
